Role Description: This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Mechanical/Compressed Air Engineer based in Birmingham, with work based around the Midlands with some nationwide travel. The role involves the installation, servicing, maintenance, and inspection of compressed air systems across multiple industries. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance checks
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment issues
  • Providing on‑site support to clients
  • Creating detailed reports and documentation
  • Collaborating with in‑house teams to optimise system performance

Job Role:

  • Strong background in Mechanical Engineering / Compressed Air Systems
  • Electrical experience preferred
  • Ideally F‑Gas trained
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client support
  • Ability to work independently on‑site and as part of a team
  • NVQ, City & Guilds, or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Prior experience in the compressed air industry or similar engineering field is an advantage
  • Full, clean driving licence is essential
  • Willingness to travel within the Midlands and occasionally nationwide, if required
