This is a great opportunity for a Waking Night Support Worker to join a dedicated team where you can make a real difference every night.
You will become part of a supportive team that provides consistent and person-centred care.
What You'll Do As A Support Worker
As a Waking Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support throughout the night.
- Maintaining a safe, calm and supportive environment.
- Building trusting and respectful relationships.
- Supporting personal care and individual routines when required.
- Responding appropriately to changing needs during the night.
- Supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Following individual support plans and agreed guidance.
- Working closely with colleagues to provide consistent support.
- Supporting independence, dignity and personal choice.
- Recording relevant information and completing required documentation.
- Working alongside colleagues and PBS leads to support positive outcomes.
What Were Looking For
We welcome applicants with compassion, reliability and the ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
Ideally, you will:
- Have experience in the care or support sector.
- Have experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Understand behaviours that may challenge and mental health needs.
- Have experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
- Be patient, proactive and pragmatic.
- Work well as part of a close-knit team.
- Be consistent, dependable and reliable.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to follow support plans and procedures.
- Be committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support.
Previous experience working waking nights would be beneficial. However, full training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
Available Shifts & Work Patterns
Waking Nights: 8:00pm 8:00am.
We are recruiting for waking night positions as part of our expanding team.
Part-Time: Typically 13 shifts per week.
Split shifts cannot be offered due to the structure and consistency required for J.
The role requires someone who can remain alert, responsive and professional throughout the night.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play an important role in providing reassurance and maintaining a safe environment.
You will also support the wider team by ensuring accurate information is recorded and communicated.
