CJP are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers for two adult males in Brighouse, each with unique medical needs. Join us in making a profound impact on their lives while working between the two brothers and supporting them separately.
Provide personalised care and support to 2 adult males with complex medical conditions, including limited mobility, diabetes type 1, epilepsy, and more.
Complex Care Support Worker:- Support 2 adult males with a learning disability, epilepsy, challenging behaviour, and other conditions.
- Duties include personalised care, management of epilepsy, addressing challenging behaviours with empathy, assisting with mobility challenges, adapting communication methods for visual impairment, and fostering emotional well-being.
- Work closely with the individuals and their support network to tailor care to their specific needs.
- Experience in healthcare, understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and challenging behaviours, as well as a compassionate approach to care are all desired.
- Assisting with personal care, managing medical needs such as diabetes monitoring and epilepsy episodes, assisting with mobility, administering nutrition through PEG feeding, and providing emotional support.
- Working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for the individual's complex needs.
Qualifications needed include previous experience in healthcare, familiarity with the mentioned medical conditions, and exceptional communication skills.
Working Hours: The position may require flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure comprehensive care coverage.
Salary: £13.50 per hour
The refer a friend scheme is worth £200 in total. This is split £100 after the person has worked 100 hours and then another £100 when they have passed probation (6 months usually).
