Location: Halifax (Illingworth)
Shift Patterns: 8:45 AM - 4:30 PM Mon-Fri, 10 AM - 5 PM Saturday (1 Saturday in 4)
About the person you will support:
R is a bright, active 38-year-old man who enjoys routine, structure, and community activities such as attending a day centre, visiting museums, and various activities. You will be supporting R to access leisure, sporting, recreational, and social activities within the local and wider communities. He thrives when supported by calm, consistent staff who can provide reassurance and structure, helping R to live an extremely full and varied life.
Daily activities include:
- Leisure and Recreational activities
- Assisting with personal shopping
- Eating Out
- Day centre
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in care/support roles, ideally with Autism and learning disabilities
- Calm, resilient, and patient approach
- Team player who values consistency and structure
- Full UK driving licence with car and business insurance
We are looking for 2 x support workers working 20.5 hrs a week each.
