Position Overview
To provide assistance and support to a Conveyancing Fee Earner.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the solicitor with the day-to-day management and progression of Buy-to-Let conveyancing matters.
- Issuing the draft contract pack
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, brokers, lenders and other solicitors to obtain information and progress matters.
- Assisting with BTL lender requirements and ensuring relevant documentation is obtained and provided to the solicitor for review.
- Preparing routine correspondence and documents for the solicitor’s review.
- Monitoring outstanding items, chasing third parties and keeping matters progressing within relevant timescales.
- Assisting with exchange and completion preparations, including checking that required documents and funds are in place.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive electronic files and updating the case management system.
- Providing professional and timely communication to clients and third parties.
Qualifications & Skills
2 years previous experience in a similar role required
