Senior Project Manager / Project Director

CJC Recruit are representing a Tier 1 main contractor delivering a portfolio of high-profile projects across the East of Scotland — including new-build schools and large commercial facilities ranging from £20–£60 million in value. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager / Project Director to lead a flagship development through full lifecycle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Full ownership of project delivery from pre-construction to handover
• Programme leadership, risk management, stakeholder engagement
• Managing commercial performance and reporting to senior leadership
• Leading a high-performing delivery team and subcontract supply chain
• Ensuring safety excellence, quality assurance and client satisfaction
• Driving buildability, productivity and digital construction adoption

Requirements

• Proven track record leading major construction projects £20m+
• Experience in education / public sector builds strongly preferred
• Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to high-performance outcomes
