CJB Scaffolding is looking for an organised and reliable Office Administrator to join our team in Beccles. You’ll be a key point of contact for the business, providing day-to-day office support across our operations and commercial teams.
You’ll answer phones, deal with customers and suppliers, keep records up to date, and help with the administrative tasks that keep the business running smoothly. It’s a varied role, with no two days necessarily the same, so it will suit someone who enjoys being busy, organised and involved in lots of different things.
What you’ll be doing
- Answering calls and emails and being a friendly, professional first point of contact for customers, site teams, suppliers and visitors
- Providing general administrative and office support to the operations and commercial teams
- Preparing, issuing and filing paperwork and other documents
- Collecting and filing handover certificates, inspection records and other site documentation
- Helping with general office tasks and providing support wherever needed
What we’re looking for
- Solid administrative experience in a busy office
- Confident on the phone and comfortable dealing with site staff, customers and suppliers
- Good with Outlook, Word and Excel, and accurate with data entry and figures
- Organised, level-headed and able to juggle competing priorities
- Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information
Nice to have
- Experience in scaffolding or construction
Industry experience isn’t essential; if you’re a strong administrator, we’ll teach you the scaffolding side.
