Role Description This is a full-time & Part-time, on-site role based in Ipswich for Solar Photovoltaic Installers & Roofers. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial roofs, ensuring safe and compliant mounting systems, and connecting solar systems according to technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Practical knowledge of solar power and solar systems, with experience or strong interest in the solar industry.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools for roofing and solar installation tasks.
- Experience working at heights, on roofs, or in construction or electrical environments.
- Understanding of basic electrical or mechanical principles is an advantage.
- Strong attention to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, work in a team, and communicate clearly on-site.
- Relevant trade qualifications, electrical or roofing certifications, or similar experience are beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local job sites as required.
