We are looking for a Supervisor to join our team at SPAR Tarbolton, Ayrshire. As a Supervisor, you will work as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times whilst upholding the Company Values. This will involve assisting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service to meet customer needs in all areas of the store (Retail, Food to Go, PO Local).
- Responsible for opening and closing of the Store.
- Attend call outs if the store alarm is activated during non-trading hours.
- Supervise and support team members on shift, allocate tasks to ensure duties are completed in a timely manner.
- Cash up and balance tills in line with company cash procedures.
- Promote the image and brand of our company through professional behaviour and personal presentation ensuring you are smart and ready for work at all times.
- Merchandise store according to store standards and company planograms.
- Actively sell and promote offers to customers.
- Process all sales transactions accurately and in line with Company procedures.
- Adhere to all Company security measures to protect colleagues and stock.
- Use the relevant systems for price checking, Shelf Edge Labelling (SEL) and stock control.
- Deputise and provide cover for the Store Manager in their absence.
- Follow all current Company procedures in line with current legal requirements.
- Complete all relevant training requirements to fulfil the role.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the store at all times.
