Our client is a well-established and growing fit-out and refurbishment contractor with an annual turnover of approximately €45 million. The company delivers high-quality commercial, retail, healthcare, education, and specialist refurbishment projects across Ireland, with an expanding footprint in the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the commercial and financial performance of projects
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises
- Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and accounts
- Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow
- Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience (QS)
- Experience within fit-out, refurbishment, or main contracting preferred
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
