Monday - Friday 8.15am - 4.45pm, anything over 40hrs PW paid at £25.50 per hour. Weekend overtime optional.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HGV vehicles and trailers.

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet of HGVs and Trailers to industry standards.
  • Carry out inspections and repairs within our yard when required using Company van.
  • Conduct inspections and routine maintenance in line with schedules.
  • Investigate, diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately on company application.
  • Attend breakdowns using company van.
  • Overtime available.

What We're Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in HGV Repair and Maintenance.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience (negotiable).
  • Experience of working on Trailers.
  • Van driving experience required.
  • UK CE (Class 1) Driving Licence (preferred).
  • Team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility in the work environment.
  • IRTEC qualification desirable.
