We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HGV vehicles and trailers.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet of HGVs and trailers to industry standards.
- Carry out inspections and repairs within our yard when required using company van.
- Conduct inspections and routine maintenance in line with schedules.
- Investigate, diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT.
- Complete all required documentation accurately on company application.
- Attend breakdowns using company van.
- Overtime available.
What We're Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in HGV Repair and Maintenance.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience (negotiable).
- Experience of working on trailers.
- Van driving experience required.
- UK CE (Class 1) Driving Licence (preferred).
- Team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility in the work environment.
- IRTEC qualification desirable.
