We're looking for a Graduate Environmental Consultant to join a specialist technical consultancy team working on the design, performance and development of outdoor facilities and infrastructure. You'll support projects ranging from community facilities through to internationally recognised sporting venues, gaining hands‑on experience of site investigations, technical testing, data analysis and client consultancy.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining fieldwork with technical analysis and wants to build a career in environmental, land‑based, engineering or infrastructure consultancy.
As part of our technical consultancy team, you'll:
- Undertake site visits and technical inspections across the UK and overseas
- Carry out performance testing using specialist surveying and assessment equipment
- Collect, analyse and interpret technical data
- Support site investigations, feasibility studies and condition assessments
- Produce technical reports, recommendations and client presentations
- Assist with the design and improvement of outdoor facilities and infrastructure
- Support construction inspections and quality assurance activities
- Work alongside consultants, engineers, architects, contractors and client teams
- Develop expertise through structured training, mentoring and live project experience

Relevant degree subjects may include:
- Environmental Science, Physical Geography
- Agriculture / Horticulture
- Ecology, Soil Science
- Land Management
- Civil Engineering
- Earth Sciences / Geology
- Sports Turf / Turfgrass Science
- Sports Surface Management
- Or another related scientific, environmental or engineering discipline
We are particularly interested in candidates who:
- Enjoy both outdoor and office-based work
- Have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Are comfortable working with technical data
- Can communicate clearly and professionally
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Are interested in sustainability, land use, infrastructure or environmental performance
- Hold a full UK driving licence
During the role you may work with:
- Environmental monitoring equipment
- Soil sampling and testing equipment
- Surface performance testing systems
- Surveying and measurement technology
- Drainage and infiltration assessment tools
- GIS, mapping and technical data analysis software
- Technical reporting and consultancy practices
You'll develop skills that are highly transferable across environmental consultancy, infrastructure, engineering, asset management, land management and sustainability-focused careers.
