An eco-conscious academy in Fakenham is seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to join its humanities department ASAP. The successful candidate will help students understand environmental change, sustainability and the relationship between people and the planet.
The Role
- Deliver Geography lessons: Teach physical and human Geography across KS3, GCSE and post-16 where required.
- Promote sustainability: Use real-world environmental issues to develop geographical understanding.
- Support practical learning: Plan fieldwork, investigations and data collection activities.
- Develop examination skills: Prepare students for geographical questions, case studies and assessments.
- Lead environmental projects: Coordinate student projects focused on conservation and sustainability.
- Encourage independent thinking: Help students analyse data and form evidence-based conclusions.

- Geography specialist: Has strong knowledge of physical and human Geography.
