The Role

As Senior Registrations Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting CIWEM’s membership programme and professional standards operations. Reporting to the Director of Membership and Professional Development, you’ll focus on managing professional registration applications, ensuring compliance with license requirements, and engaging non-members in their journey to professional recognition.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and support applications for Chartership, Fellow, and engineering registrations
  • Lead promotional activities to encourage non-members to pursue professional registration
  • Ensure timely processing of membership applications and maintain CIWEM's high standards
  • Oversee committees related to professional standards, ensuring they run smoothly with actionable outcomes
  • Recruit, manage, and train application assessors and interviewers
  • Maintain relationships with external licensing bodies while supporting periodic license reviews and standards updates
  • Continuously review and optimise professional standards processes to reflect best practices
