Lead the future of water and environmental management. The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead our next chapter. CIWEM is a leading professional membership body, supporting over 11,000+ members working across government, business, academia and charities. We are committed to building a global water and environmental community dedicated to public benefit and in 2019 we declared a climate and biodiversity emergency, pledging to support our members in tackling the biggest environmental challenges of our time. About the Role
As CEO, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and overall management of CIWEM
- Be accountable for financial and operational performance
- Deliver our growth strategy and business plan
- Strengthen governance alongside the Chair and Board of Trustees
- Raise CIWEM’s national and international profile
- Build strong relationships with members, partners, government and industry
- Lead and inspire a talented Senior Management Team
You will be the public face of CIWEM, a credible, visible leader across the water and environmental sectors.
