We are looking for an ITU Staff Nurse to join our state of the art ITU Unit at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC.
As a Staff Nurse working on our ITU Unit you will be part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team (MDT). You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that our client's patients are cared for in a safe, compassionate and comfortable environment. This will include meeting physical, psychological and spiritual needs by effectively communicating with the patient, their families and your colleagues.
Working within our ITU Unit as a Staff Nurse will keep you challenged and will give you the opportunity to develop your existing skills. The ITU unit is equipped with the latest technology and provides specialised care to level 2 & 3 patients. You will have the opportunity to work across an extremely diverse and acute patient caseload covering a range of specialities, including GI, Neuro & Spinal – giving you the flexibility to specialise in a specific area or keep your work varied and your skills challenged.
With our nurse-to-patient ratio frequently at 1:1 or 1:2 you will have the opportunity to do what you do best: Care.
