The organisation collaborates with investors to create practical solutions that can make a real difference in tackling climate change. An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Development Manager to join the team.
As Senior Development Manager, you will aim to maximise funding from trusts and foundations, strategically build relationships and proactively seek further opportunities to continue expanding the charity’s portfolio of existing relationships and promising prospects to ensure continued, high-value philanthropic support. This is a full-time, 9 month fixed term contract (maternity cover), aiming to start in July.
Who are we looking for?
- Ideal candidates will possess significant and demonstrable experience working with trusts and foundations.
- You will have a proven track record of producing compelling and successful grant proposals to secure high-value, multi-year grants (success with securing six/seven figure grants highly desirable).
- You will have excellent relationship management skills and will be adept at engaging and inspiring donors and understand diverse donor motivations.
- Candidates will have demonstrable skill in adapting and delivering complex and technical written and verbal communications for a philanthropy audience.
- Knowledge of the institutional investor landscape and/or finance industry would be a bonus however it is not essential for the role.
