Role: Fundraising Manager (part time - 4 days or full time, Primary Schools, London)
Salary: £40k per annum
Location: Hybrid in central London
Civitas Recruitment are delighted to be working with two city primary schools both with an individual and distinctive ethos. An exciting opportunity exists for a Fundraiser to join the team. As Fundraiser, you will raise philanthropic income at multiple levels from a variety of income streams including local businesses, individuals, trusts and foundations to support both schools’ fundraising priorities including repayment of the school’s deficit budgets. This is a full-time, permanent role, hybrid working in London, Soho, with at least 2-3 days in the office.
Who are we looking for?
- Ideal candidates will have experience in fundraising or income generation, completing bid applications and have experience of working within a results-oriented environment and with a record of achieving income targets.
- You will have outstanding communication skills both in writing and in person, as well as a proven track record of influencing and negotiating.
- You will be able to think strategically in the short, medium and long term and resolve complex problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomacy, discretion and tact are also essential for the role.
- Direct experience of fundraising/income generation within an educational or charity setting would be a bonus however it is not essential for the role.
