We're looking for a Transport Manager to join us at Civils & Lintels in Nottingham

Our Transport Managers are responsible for getting the correct quantities of products to their required location within the given time limit and, as a result, must effectively organise and manage a team of drivers and vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for personnel, monitoring their progress and being their first point of contact if a problem arises – communication skills vital.
  • Organise and oversee all health and safety checks and routine vehicle checks and adhere to company and statutory requirements.
  • Efficiently work within a high‑volume transport operation with good local geographic knowledge.
  • Strong communication and people‑management skills to cultivate business relationships on multiple levels.
  • Promote good housekeeping within the depot to provide a safe, professional environment.
  • Ensure active compliance with company policies within the depot.
  • Actively safeguard company goods and property from theft or damage.
