Help shape the UK’s energy future with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA). The role focuses on delivering Sizewell C, a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes. This senior position reports to the Head of Project Controls and is part of the CWA Wide Section.

What you will do

  • Manage change across one or more sections of Sizewell C, ensuring the project’s precision, integrity and excellence.
  • Lead the delivery and governance of the Change Management process across the CWA, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of change – from SZC directions and instructions through to compensation events, recovery plans and contingency drawdowns.
  • Coordinate interrelated changes across sections to maintain program and cost integrity.
  • Configure and leverage Oracle Primavera Unifier to track, report and manage all change activities.
  • Develop dashboards, metrics and reporting tools that provide visibility of change performance and trends.
  • Support strategic decision-making by integrating cost, time, risk and contract constraints.
  • Champion HSE and Nuclear Safety as embedded principles in every change decision.
  • Promote Digital Engineering tools and processes, establishing integrated systems linking BIM data with schedule and budget.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with our clients (NNB and EDF), acting as a strategic advisor.
  • Develop high-performing teams and drive capability development.
  • Protect the integrity of the CWA’s cost and program envelopes.

Who we’re looking for

  • A results-driven leader with 12–15 years of experience leading project controls on complex mega-infrastructure projects for leading international tier-1 contractors.
  • Qualified to APM PMQ, APMG Project Planning and Control Practitioner level or equivalent (MRISC preferred).
  • Expertise in contract, cost and EVM systems including PRISM, Unifier and InEight.
  • Passionate about excellence – willing to go the extra mile and continually search for ways to add value.
  • A champion for HSE and Nuclear Safety who embeds these principles throughout work.
  • A collaborative team player who shares knowledge and empowers others to deliver.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to anticipate stakeholder needs and build sustainable relationships.
  • Adaptable and energized by change, learning quickly and responding positively to evolving demands.
  • An excellent communicator who achieves clarity and impact in all interactions.
  • Someone who delivers operational excellence consistently.
