Up to Β£41,227 plus a Β£2,000 South East allowance per annum and generous benefits package.

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service dedicated to the nuclear industry. Our vision is to be recognised nationally and internationally as the United Kingdom\βs leading organisation for the provision of protective policing for the civil nuclear industry and other critical national infrastructure. Given the critical nature of our work, it\βs vital that we recruit skilled and committed professionals to our team.
We\βre looking for a Management Accountant to provide technical business partnering across monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting β with an emphasis on process efficiency and improvement, alongside the production of robust management information to support effective decision making. You\βll take ownership of month-end reporting processes including the analysis and production of reporting packs, and leading the budgeting and forecasting exercises, receiving financial submissions, consolidating and incorporating into financial plans.
You will work closely with internal and external customers and stakeholders; managing relationships, providing financial advice, developing reporting and supporting with tracking and financial modelling. Alongside our Financial Control team you\βll help to produce accurate and timely end of year accounts, ensuring that financial controls are maintained and undertake audit activities. Your keen eye for detail will ensure the integrity of our data, and work closely with our System Support team to develop and improve reporting, processes and models. You\βll have good knowledge of Managing Public Money and ensure that the CNC are following these principles.
To be successful in this role you should be AAT Qualified or be actively studying towards a professional qualification with a recognised Accountancy body (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with experience in an accountancy environment, providing management reporting and facilitating budgeting and forecasting processes. You will be highly experienced using Enterprise Resource Planning systems and MS Office applications, and be an advanced user of Excel to maintain, develop, and build financial models. You will be an effective communicator and confident in collaborating with stakeholders.
