Overview
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), is growing and we have an excellent opportunity to hire an Environmental Project Manager to contribute to our Environmental Practice in our Boston, MA offices. As a Project Manager with CEC, you will assist in expanding the practice focusing on environmental consulting, engineering, permitting, and compliance services to private and public sector clients in a wide range of markets including manufacturing, mining, real estate, solid waste, and power. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, as well as managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and making hiring recommendations. You will manage, plan, coordinate, and supervise the day-to-day operations and activities of field environmental compliance staff including but not limited to the following major program sections: groundwater sampling & monitoring, stormwater management, and environmental compliance programs.
Applicants will have the option to sit in either our Raynham, MA or Peabody, MA office locations.
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Geology, Environmental Science, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering;
- Professional license; LSP, LEP, P.E. or P.G. a plus;
- 5 β 15 years of experience;
- Experience managing environmental projects under state and/or federal regulations and requirements;
- Demonstrated business development and client management experience required;
- Strong leadership, team building, and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, budgeting, and cost control;
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations for air, water, and wastewater;
- Permitting/compliance experience across various industries;
- Regulatory and remediation experience preferred;
- Proficient in scoping and developing investigation and remediation work plans, corrective action plans, and final reports.
