We are working with a well-established, privately owned civil engineering contractor with a turnover exceeding £100m and a strong track record of sustained growth. The business has built a reputation as a market leader within Commercial infrastructure, delivering large-scale schemes for major UK Developers.
With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Pontyclun, South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the commercial aspects of civil engineering and groundworks projects
- Procurement and management of subcontractors
- Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Supporting project teams to ensure commercial success and efficiency
- Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
Requirements
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or groundworks
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project lifecycles
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
