The Role
Working with other colleagues within People and Culture and the business, you will be responsible for identifying and delivering opportunities for process improvement and increased self-service as part of our continuous improvement plan and enabling progress. You will ensure that people systems and related procedures adhere to organisational processes, policies and guidelines. As part of this role, you will be responsible for optimisation of existing business processes and workflows with the SAP SuccessFactors system. You will be involved in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of BAU and delivering added value to the end user as well as leading on system releases and change activities. Our SAP SuccessFactors system includes modules such as Employee Central, Learning, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Recruitment, and Onboarding.
BAU accountabilities:
- Ensure that the system appropriately reflects our business processes and presents an integrated people solution for the business.
- Partner with internal colleagues to ensure that errors and system performance issues are raised and resolved in a timely way for optimum system performance.
- Lead on the coordination of the bi-annual release process across all People and Culture functions to ensure it is managed effectively and identifying changes and opportunities for enhancements to our processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to upgrades, releases, fixes, & enhancements.
- Create and administer end user surveys to solicit feedback on processes & systems.
- Lead on creation and delivery of training material and guidance for all colleagues (People and Culture and business) that simplifies use and enhances knowledge of the system and associated processes.
- Investigate the system impact and support the delivery of People and Culture work, including organisation design, People and Culture implications of business transformation and People and Culture functional effectiveness.
- Monitoring and analysing data flows to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Responsible for the maintenance of role-based permissions whilst adhering to security controls.
- Support and coach team members to upskill knowledge and experience.
- Provide training for new joiners and upskill the People Advisor team through education, training and improved self-service.
- Keep all training material up to date.
Optimisation and implementation responsibilities:
- Collaborate with People and Culture functional teams and business stakeholders to identify, analyse and deliver optimisation of existing business processes and workflows within the SAP SuccessFactors system.
- Work with the System Integration partner to understand SuccessFactors best practice processes and configuration, as well as any constraints so that these can be explained to non-expert stakeholders during process design.
- Create test scripts and carry out functional testing of SuccessFactors solution to ensure processes have been configured correctly according to CAA business requirements.
- Contribute to or lead (depending on scale of the change) the identification of all change management activities required to ensure that all end-users are sufficiently skilled and knowledgeable to successfully execute all processes and transactions.
- Collaborate with People and Culture experts on the delivery of the non-technical aspects of minor change - this will include user adoption and change management.
- Provide recommendations for system enhancements.
About You
To be considered for this role you should meet the following criteria:
- Extensive experience in SAP SuccessFactors administration with, ideally, experience of implementation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and one or more additional modules.
- Strong understanding of people processes and practices and their alignment with SAP SuccessFactors.
- Proven experience in release management, and support partner relationship management.
- Experience with data migration, and system upgrades.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, support partners and stakeholders.
- Understanding and proven experience of continuous improvement and change management.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors integrations.
- Certification in Employee Central or working towards achieving this.
- Worked within a HR system team within a people function.
- Experience of coaching or mentoring others.

Relocation & Property
The CAA will be relocating from Aviation House (Our Gatwick Office) to new premises in a few yearsβ time. Our move is driven by strategic, operational and environmental considerations. We will be moving to a new local home, up to a 15-mile radius of Aviation House, to minimise disruption for our valued colleagues and customers. We are now working with colleagues and visitors to understand what we need in our new office, before we start our property search. We will sell Aviation House and land, vacate the site and move to new premises, but we do not expect to move before 2028.
