We’re currently looking for a Sales Director to join our Central Government business unit. You will be responsible for delivering commercial success within your division. You will be leading Civica in presenting market and sector leadership to its customers through its service offerings. You will be working closely with your divisional Executive Director and Regional Director. You will be leading a team of sales professionals collaborating with leaders across functions such as Pre-sales, Bids, Delivery Service, Support and Central Functions. You’ll need to have an indepth understanding of the Central Government landscape, and a deep understanding of successful strategies to drive revenue & sales of data and technology services.
This is a senior leadership role that requires strategic thinking, commercial acumen, problem solving skills, stakeholder management experience and an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have the opportunity to uplift the team, set the benchmark for excellence when it comes to sales, and be integral when it comes to working strategically to define our GTM.

- Skilled in leading and managing large sales teams, ensuring a consistent sales rhythm.
- Expert in cultivating and empowering high-performing teams, demonstrating exceptional leadership even in uncertain environments.
- Possesses strong analytical abilities and makes data-driven decisions, utilizing metrics and tools to guide strategic choices.
- Experienced in leading customer-facing business operations and building strong relationships with C-level executives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels effectively.
- Collaborates seamlessly with leaders across divisions and the broader organization to achieve business objectives.
- Track record when it comes to leading the divisional sales teams and is accountable for driving commercial success (P&L metrics, bookings growth).
- Ability to define and deliver a compelling GTM vision and strategy for the division and build a healthy customer book of business.
- Ability to drive strong execution building new customer accounts, customer expansion, retention, and delivering growth across the product portfolio.
- Ability to lead a rigorous data-driven sales rhythm – forecasting, demand generation, opportunity progression, account planning, account review to drive selling.
