Why you'll love this role of Enterprise Data ArchitectWe're looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to play a pivotal role in one of the most significant transformation programmes within Civica.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of Civica's enterprise data architecture as we modernise our technology landscape and build the foundation for future growth, analytics, automation, and AI enablement. You'll help shape how data flows across the organisation, supporting major business transformation initiatives while establishing the standards, governance, and architectural principles that will underpin our future state.

Working closely with senior business leaders, technology teams, and strategic partners including Salesforce, NetSuite, Certinia and PwC, you'll have the opportunity to influence decisions at the highest level while remaining hands-on in delivering practical outcomes. This role offers genuine ownership, visibility, and the ability to leave a lasting impact across a global organisation.

Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and develop Civica's enterprise data and integration architecture strategyDocument and define current-state and future-state data architecture across the organisationDesign scalable data models, integration patterns, and migration strategies that support business transformationProvide architectural leadership across major programmes including ERP, professional services automation, integration, and data transformation initiativesProvide expert advice and guidance data governance standards, quality controls, and master data management approachesSupport large-scale data migration activities Define transition states from legacy to target architecturesWork closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure architectural alignment and successful deliveryTranslate complex technical concepts into clear business language for executive and non-technical audiencesProvide oversight and guidance on data security, compliance, and regulatory requirementsAct as the subject matter authority for enterprise data architecture across central functionsRequirementsSignificant experience in Enterprise Data Architecture within complex organisationsStrong expertise in enterprise data modelling, integration architecture, and large-scale data migration programmesExperience designing and delivering data architecture strategies that support business transformationAbility to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on, delivery-focused approachExperience working across multiple enterprise platforms and complex technology landscapesStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive levelProven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiencesExperience establishing data governance frameworks, standards, and controlsKnowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and best practice architecture principlesA track record of driving architectural change in fast-paced and evolving environmentsNice to haveExperience with Salesforce, NetSuite, Certinia, or similar enterprise SaaS platformsExposure to private equity-backed or high-growth businessesExperience supporting analytics, reporting, AI, or data platform initiativesExperience creating enterprise-wide master data management approachesExperience working with global teams and third-party implementation partnersWhat makes this opportunity unique?
