This is a fully remote, on-demand role where you will play a vital part in supporting Adult Social Care services during periods of increased demand or staffing pressure. You will help ensure that financial assessments are completed accurately, fairly, and in line with the Care Act, enabling individuals to receive the support and benefits they are entitled to. This role is ideal if you are experienced, detail-focused, and confident working independently. You will be trusted to manage your workload effectively while being part of a supportive, experienced team that understands the realities of Adult Social Care.
Key Responsibilities- Complete Adult Social Care financial assessments in line with Care Act legislation
- Ensure service user contributions are calculated accurately and fairly
- Manage workloads effectively to prevent or reduce assessment backlogs
- Use Adult Social Care financial assessment systems to complete work efficiently
- Access and use DWP Customer Information System (CIS) where required
- Maintain clear, accurate records to support audit and quality standards
- Experience working in Adult Social Care or a related financial assessment or benefits environment
- Strong working knowledge of the Care Act and associated regulations
- Confidence using a range of Adult Social Care financial assessment systems
- DBS checked (or willing to undertake a DBS check, which can be provided)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently while delivering consistently high-quality outcomes
