As a Project Manager within our Health and Care division, you'll take ownership of delivering complex, large-scale software and services projects for customers in both public and private healthcare. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects run smoothly from handover through to completion, overseeing budgets, risks, quality, and stakeholder engagement along the way.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, scope, and deliver projects to agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of implementation staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Manage risk, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Monitor progress and provide clear, consistent reporting to stakeholders.
  • Ensure financial control and benefits realisation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Degree-level education in IT, business, or a related subject.
  • At least three years' experience delivering substantial, customer-facing projects.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and contractual responsibilities.
  • Experience working to ISO9000 or other operational standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in public sector health or social care projects.
  • Aware of technologies such as MS Office, Oracle, SQL Server, and Cloud platforms.
