We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to join our Commercial team for a fixed term maternity leave cover of 12 months.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Review and negotiation of contractual terms, in line with commercial policy principles, and necessary drafting to support this;
  • Monitoring of pipeline and management of priorities in accordance with business strategy;
  • Mitigation of commercial risks and issues;
  • Contract performance reporting, part of the wider Commercial and Legal department led by Civica's General Counsel.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, both with internal stakeholders to senior level, and with key customer contacts;
  • Experience in IT services and knowledge of delivery under agile methodology;
  • Experience working into the defence sector, in particular with IT related DEFCONs and defence procurement processes;
  • Good organisational & prioritisation skills;
  • Understanding of contract law and associated drafting skills;
  • Financial awareness;
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a small team, with a can-do attitude.
