As Senior Designer at Civica, you will lead the visual direction of our marketing output, shaping how our brand shows up across campaigns, thought leadership, and digital experiences. You’ll play a key role in elevating the quality and consistency of our design work while mentoring a junior staff member and collaborating closely with content, campaign, and marketing teams. What you will do to be successful in this role:
- Lead the visual design output of the Brand and Creative team, setting and maintaining high standards across all brand and campaign assets.
- Manage and mentor junior staff members, providing creative direction, feedback, and workload prioritisation to ensure high-quality and consistent design output.
- Design and deliver creative assets across digital, print, presentations, social media, campaigns, events, and executive communications.
- Translate campaign and brand briefs into strong visual concepts, collaborating with copywriters, campaign teams, and Marketing Business Partners.
- Own the application of Civica’s brand identity across all marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines while supporting the evolution of the visual identity.
- Champion the use of AI design tools within the creative studio to improve workflow efficiency and expand creative output while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage relationships with external design agencies, print vendors, and production partners where required.
- Produce design layouts and visual assets for campaign landing pages and product pages in collaboration with the Web and Performance Marketing Manager.
Qualifications:
- Proven hands‑on design expertise with a strong portfolio demonstrating work across digital, print, campaign, and presentation design in a B2B or marketing environment.
- Experience providing creative direction or mentoring designers, with the ability to maintain high design standards across a fast‑paced team.
- Strong understanding of brand identity systems and experience applying and evolving brand guidelines across multi‑channel marketing activity.
- Ability to translate marketing briefs into compelling visual concepts and clearly communicate design decisions to stakeholders.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent design projects and deliver high‑quality work against campaign timelines.
- Proficiency in industry‑standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with interest in using AI design tools to enhance creative workflows.
