As a Platform Product Manager within the Civica Platform team, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution. You are the architect of the "Why" and "When," defining the vision and roadmap for our cloud-based platforms. Reporting to the Director of Platform, you will operate at the heart of a high-impact group, collaborating with our Principal Platform Engineer (the technical North Star) and Platform Engineering Managers (the delivery leaders) to provide a seamless experience for our internal developer community.

Key responsibilities:

  • Roadmap & Prioritisation: Lead the global prioritisation of features, balancing "gold standard" global consistency with specific local requirements.
  • Backlog Management: Own the product backlog; translate complex technical needs into actionable user stories for engineering teams.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary interface between platform engineering and internal business units to gather feedback and drive adoption.
  • Success Metrics: Define and monitor KPIs for platform performance, reliability, and internal developer NPS.

Requirements:

  • Strong product management experience, working in a modern software or product-led organisation.
  • Proven track record in Product or Technical Program Management within infrastructure, cloud, or platform domains.
  • Deep understanding of Cloud (Azure/AWS), DevOps cultures, and the principles of Developer Experience (DevEx).
  • Mastery of backlog management and Agile methodologies.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and can communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Beneficial Experience:

  • Experience managing Cloud Native migrations.
  • Exposure to large-scale PaaS initiatives.
  • Experience working in a global, multi-timezone environment.
