We are seeking experienced Business Development Managers to join us in helping local government transform the way they serve their communities via our portfolio of local government SaaS solutions. In this role, you’ll take ownership of driving new business growth and expanding our footprint within your territory. You’ll proactively plan and prospect to uncover fresh opportunities, engage key decision-makers, and build lasting relationships with new customers. Your efforts will directly contribute to helping local authorities transform their services and better meet the evolving needs of their communities.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across UK local government
- Building relationships with senior stakeholders and decision makers
- Understanding the challenges facing local government and positioning our SaaS solutions as strategic enablers
- Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close
- Manage sales pipeline efficiently via Salesforce, track engagement, and ensure a data-driven approach to sales success.
Qualifications
- Experienced in new business SaaS sales
- Passion for public service transformation and digital innovation
- Excellent communication and consultative selling skills
- Self-starter mindset with a hunger to exceed targets
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environment
- Full UK driving licence
