12 Month Contract With A Local Authority

Job Purpose

To deliver a high-quality environmental health and public protection service across the borough by enforcing environmental health legislation, undertaking complex investigations, and supporting the Council’s corporate priorities. The Senior Environmental Health Officer will lead on specialist casework, provide expert advice to businesses and residents, and support the development of junior officers within the Environmental Health team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of commercial premises and enforce relevant environmental health legislation.
  • Investigate complaints, incidents, and complex environmental health cases.
  • Prepare detailed reports, case files, witness statements, and prosecution documentation.
