The Independent Living Team Supervisor plays a crucial role in leading and supervising the delivery of high-quality Independent Living services across the Council’s housing schemes. This position ensures that residents are supported to live safely, independently, and with dignity, while promoting wellbeing, safeguarding, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day delivery of Independent Living services across multiple housing schemes.
  • Ensure residents receive a consistent, high-quality service that promotes independence, wellbeing, and tenancy sustainment.
  • Monitor service performance and ensure compliance with Council policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Oversee housing management functions, including tenancy compliance, estate inspections, and risk management activities.
  • Ensure the effective administration and monitoring of Independent Living schemes.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within housing management, independent living, sheltered housing, supported housing, or related services.
  • Experience supervising, leading, or mentoring staff within a customer-focused environment.
  • Experience managing resident welfare, wellbeing, and safeguarding concerns.
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults, older people, or individuals requiring support services.
  • Experience liaising with statutory, voluntary, and community-based organisations.

Essential Qualifications Required:

  • Relevant qualification in Housing, Community Services, Health & Social Care, Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Additional Information:

  • Working hours: 37 hours per week.
  • Location: Rugby.
  • Basic DBS required.
  • Rate: £18.85 per hour PAYE / £25.44 UMBRELLA.
  • Contract: Immediate start until end of September.
  • Working Pattern: 4 days office / 1 day from home.
  • We work on a bi-weekly schedule.
