The position involves handling a high volume of low-value transactional work, such as lease events and lettings, while also supporting broader asset management activities like valuations, EPC-related upgrades, service charge scheduling, and measured surveys.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of landlord and tenant transactions across retail and commercial/industrial units.
- Handle lease events including renewals, rent reviews, assignments, licenses, and terminations.
- Progress lettings in line with agreed policies and procedures.
- Ensure all cases are processed efficiently and within required timeframes.
- Apply organizational policies relating to lettings, debt recovery, and estate management.
- Support the monitoring and management of rental income and debt recovery processes.
- Assist in maintaining accurate property and tenancy records.
Requirements
Essential Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience in landlord and tenant matters within a commercial property environment.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactional caseloads efficiently.
- Experience working with retail and/or commercial/industrial property portfolios.
- Knowledge of lease events such as rent reviews, renewals, and assignments.
Essential Qualifications Required
- Degree or equivalent experience in Estate Management, Real Estate, or a related field (desirable).
- Working towards or membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is advantageous.
- Strong working knowledge of property legislation and best practice.
Working hours: 37 hours per week. Enhanced DBS barred with children required. This temporary role is likely to be extended to the end of March 2027. Location: Floor 3N, Time Square, RG12 1JD.
