5 - 6 Month Contract With A Local Authority
Job Purpose
Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and verification across multiple sites, ensuring electrical installations comply with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations. Complete high-quality Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and support the safe operation of large commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical testing, inspection, and verification of electrical installations in accordance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Complete accurate and compliant Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
- Identify electrical defects, non-compliances, and recommend remedial actions.
- Test and inspect electrical systems across multiple commercial sites.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing results, and completed work.
- Travel between sites as required to deliver inspection and testing services.
- Work flexibly, including occasional early mornings and late evenings, to meet operational requirements.
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with relevant City & Guilds electrical qualifications.
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in electrical testing and verification to BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Experience completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
- Experience testing electrical installations within large commercial properties is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred due to multi-site working).
