We are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Technician with expertise in either Plumbing or Carpentry to join our dynamic Direct Repairs team. This role involves delivering responsive repairs and maintenance services to residents in East London and Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of repairs efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing first-time fix rates. Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day repairs and maintenance in residential properties.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions.
- Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
- Ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Maximize first-time fix opportunities.
- Plumbing or Carpentry Works:
- Plumbing Specialism: Repair and replace taps, toilets, and pipework. Detect and repair leaks. Maintain kitchens and bathrooms.
- Carpentry Specialism: Repair doors, locks, and ironmongery. Maintain kitchen units and internal joinery. Repair windows and frames.
- Multi-Trade Duties:
- Undertake secondary trade repairs where competent.
- Perform minor decorating, patching, and finishing tasks.
- Support broader repair and maintenance activities.
- Customer Service:
- Deliver excellent customer service during all resident interactions.
- Communicate clearly about repair requirements and progress.
- Maintain professionalism in occupied homes.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer care.
- Health & Safety:
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
- Complete all works safely.

Requirements
- Qualified or time-served Plumber or Carpenter.
- Experience in domestic repairs and maintenance.
- Experience working in occupied residential properties.

- Driving Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
