Job Purpose

To provide professional estates management support across a mixed property portfolio, delivering effective management of commercial and industrial assets. The role will involve valuations, lettings, tenancy management, and general estates responsibilities, working collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders within a local government environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the delivery of estates services across a varied property portfolio.
  • Undertake property valuations and provide professional advice where required.
  • Support the management of commercial and industrial estates.
  • Handle lettings, tenancy management, and general estate management activities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Provide professional estates advice and support on property-related matters.
  • Carry out occasional local site visits within the Kidderminster area.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure property information is kept up to date.
  • Work effectively within a local government environment and adapt to changing priorities.


Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an Estates Surveyor or in a similar property role.
  • Experience within a Local Government environment is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge and experience managing mixed property portfolios.
  • Experience with property valuations.
  • Knowledge of commercial and industrial estates.
  • Experience with lettings, tenancy management, and general estates management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across different teams.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.


Additional Information

  • Location: Hybrid working arrangement. Office attendance as required, ranging from no office attendance some weeks to up to 3 days per week when needed. Occasional local site visits within Kidderminster.
  • Hours per week: 37 hours - Flexible Γ’ part-time or full-time hours considered.
  • Bi-Weekly Payments
