This is a 1-month contract with a local authority aimed at assisting the Highways Division in meeting service, legislative, and council policy requirements. Responsibilities

  • Understand the legal framework related to highway authority networks.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct inspections.
  • Assess the risk level of defects using dimension-based or dimensionless approaches.
  • Adjust the urgency of repairs based on risk assessments.
  • Utilize data capture devices and computer systems for reporting and updating asset registers, inventories, maintenance, and condition surveys.
  • Comprehend the core principles of asset management.
  • Coordinate with internal and external bodies to prevent conflict and duplication of works.
