The Dustcart Driver (Class 2) is a crucial role responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle and ensuring the efficient delivery of waste collection services in the local area.
The successful candidate will be part of a small, dedicated team, working alongside loaders to complete waste collection rounds safely and effectively.

Responsibilities
Driving Duties
- Operate a dustcart/refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure compliance with road traffic laws and operational procedures.
- Complete collection rounds within agreed timescales.
- Plan and manage daily collection routes effectively.
- Assist with loading refuse and waste materials as needed.
- Collaborate with loaders to complete daily schedules.

- Previous Local Authority experience.
- Experience in waste management or environmental services.
- Experience as a Driver Assistant.

- Part‑time position working 20 hours per week.
