Thurrock Council is looking for a seasoned Estates Surveyor with MRICS qualifications to join their Property Team on a temporary basis.

The role involves managing a varied commercial property portfolio with a primary focus on Landlord and Tenant issues, such as rent reviews, lease renewals, and lease negotiations.

The successful candidate will serve as the main liaison for tenants and collaborate closely with legal and finance departments to ensure efficient estate management and revenue generation.

This position is ideal for a commercially savvy Chartered Surveyor with excellent stakeholder management abilities and a solid background in commercial property management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact for tenants within the Council's diverse commercial estate.
  • Oversee a broad spectrum of Landlord and Tenant matters.
