The EHC Plan Writer is tasked with drafting, amending, and reviewing Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plans to ensure they are accurate, legally compliant, person-centered, and reflective of the child or young person's needs and outcomes. This role emphasises producing high-quality written plans without engaging in casework management, allowing the postholder to specialise in creating clear, consistent, and compliant documentation.
Responsibilities
- Produce clear, accurate, and person-centered EHC Plans in accordance with the Children and Families Act and SEND Code of Practice.
- Draft amendments following Annual Reviews.
