We are looking for a seasoned Traffic Engineer to contribute to the successful execution of traffic management and transport capital initiatives in Dudley. As a member of the Traffic Engineering Team, you will be instrumental in guiding projects from the initial concept phase through to design, consultation, implementation, and on-site instruction. This role is ideal for professionals in highways or traffic engineering with a background in transport projects and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the execution of traffic management and transport capital projects.
- Assist in project design, consultations, investigations, and feasibility studies.
- Conduct site visits, reviews, and risk assessments.
- Draft technical reports, briefing notes, and recommendations.
- Address traffic-related issues and devise engineering solutions.
- Engage with residents, councillors, stakeholders, consultants, and partner organizations.
