The Deputy Childcare & Children’s Centre Services Manager is a key member of the senior management team, supporting the delivery of high-quality early years education and childcare services across local authority-maintained nursery provisions.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
- Support the day-to-day management of childcare services across multiple nursery settings.
- Assist in maintaining high standards of early years education and care provision.
- Contribute to service planning, self-evaluation, and development planning.
- Support Ofsted readiness and inspection requirements.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for safeguarding in the absence of the Executive Head.
- Promote child welfare and ensure early identification of safeguarding concerns.
- Support vulnerable children, including managing admissions and transitions.
Essential Experience Required:
- Experience working within Early Years or childcare services.
- Experience delivering integrated care, education, and family support services.
- Experience with Ofsted requirements and inspections.
- Experience supporting staff supervision and team development.
Essential Qualifications Required:
- Relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential).
- Evidence of continuing professional development.

- Working hours: 36 hours per week.
- Location: 91-93 St Ann's Road, London, Greater London, N15 6NU, United Kingdom.
- We work on a bi-weekly schedule.
