3-Month Contract with a Local Authority
Umbrella Rate: £27.33 per hour umbrella
Summary
- We are seeking a Multi-Skill Plumber to carry out plumbing and associated multi-trade repairs, maintenance, renewals, and installations across Camden’s housing stock and other Council properties. You will ensure works are completed to a high standard, in line with current regulations, and delivered Right First Time.
Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing repairs including pipework, drainage, and sanitary installations.
- Undertake multi-trade tasks such as carpentry, tiling, and making good works.
- Deliver reactive, planned, and void repairs.
- Diagnose faults and identify cost-effective solutions.
- Provide high standards of customer service in residents’ homes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Complete job records and manage materials using mobile systems.
Experience
- Experience in housing repairs or maintenance.
- Demonstrable multi-trade capability.
- Strong fault-finding ability.
Qualifications
- Qualified plumber (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Good customer communication skills.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 36 hours per week.
- A valid driver's license is essential.
- We work on a biweekly payment schedule.
- This is an Onsite role based in Camden.
