Job Purpose
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within Birmingham Children's Trust premises. You will carry out daily cleaning duties across offices, communal areas, and welfare facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Clean offices and workspaces.
- Clean toilets and washroom facilities.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust and sanitise surfaces.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the building.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and cleaning schedules.
- Ensure all areas remain clean, tidy, and presentable.
Essential Experience Required
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Experience working in offices, commercial buildings, or public sector environments is desirable.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Essential Qualifications Required
- Right to Work in the UK.
Additional Information to Note
- Working Hours: 15 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday.
- Shift Pattern: 15:00 - 18:00.
- Location: Birmingham Children's Trust.
- No DBS required.
- We work on bi-weekly payment schedule.
