The role of the Organisational Development Partner is pivotal in fostering a workforce that is engaged, skilled, and high-performing by implementing both strategic and operational organisational development initiatives throughout the Council. This position involves close collaboration with senior leaders, managers, and various services to pinpoint organisational, cultural, and workforce development needs. The successful candidate will design evidence-based interventions that enhance service delivery and align with the Council's priorities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a reliable organisational development advisor to senior leaders, managers, and services within the Council.
- Assess organisational, leadership, cultural, and workforce development needs and formulate practical solutions.
- Assist in executing the Council's People Strategy and organisational development goals.
- Lead and participate in culture change initiatives that promote organisational values and desired behaviours.
- Create initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement, wellbeing, and overall organisational performance.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in identifying and diagnosing organisational, cultural, leadership, or workforce development needs.
- Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing organisational development interventions, programmes, or initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in fields such as Organisational Development, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Workforce Development, Business Psychology, or a related discipline.

- Working Hours: 36 hours per week
- Location: Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA6 7AT, United Kingdom
- Work Pattern: Primarily 2 days in the office, with additional in-person attendance as project needs dictate.
