We are looking for talented and collaborative CAD/BIM Technician who share our purpose and desire to make a positive difference to the world around them. Sustainable design is at the heart of our Practice and collectively we can create inspirational designs that will protect our climate and enhance the built environment. As a CAD/BIM Technician, you will join one of our friendly studios, bringing with you experience across a mix of sectors including residential, education, commercial, development and regeneration. Collaborative and helpful you will have the opportunity to work closely with high profile private and public‑sector clients, influencing with your technical expertise and effective communication skills.

The CAD/BIM Technician is responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings and models to support design teams across architectural, engineering, or construction projects. The role ensures that designs are correctly documented, coordinated, and compliant with project standards and regulations. This role supports architects, MEP engineers, and project managers by translating design concepts into detailed CAD drawings and BIM models. The CAD/BIM Technician ensures that drawings are precise, up‑to‑date, and ready for construction, planning submissions, or client review.

Key elements of the job:

  • Produce 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM software.
  • Update and revise drawings in line with design changes and project requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of drawings for planning applications, technical submissions, and construction.
  • Coordinate with design team members to ensure drawings are consistent and clash‑free.
  • Maintain drawing standards, templates, and libraries.
  • Support the team with printing, plotting, and archiving technical documents.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with company and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support for design and project teams as needed.
