Are you an experienced Activities Coordinator who is passionate about making every day meaningful for older people? We are recruiting for an Activities Coordinator to join a friendly nursing home supporting elderly residents, the majority of whom are living with dementia. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging, person-centred activities that enhance residents' well-being, encourage social interaction and promote independence.

Responsibilities

  • Planning engaging daily and weekly activity programmes
  • Delivering both group and individual activities
  • Supporting residents living with dementia
  • Organising celebrations, themed events and entertainment
  • Working alongside the care and nursing teams

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator within a care home or nursing home
  • Experience working with people living with dementia
  • A caring, enthusiastic and creative personality
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where you can genuinely make a difference every day. Monday - Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm
