Are you an experienced Activities Coordinator who is passionate about making every day meaningful for older people? We are recruiting for an Activities Coordinator to join a friendly nursing home supporting elderly residents, the majority of whom are living with dementia. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging, person-centred activities that enhance residents' well-being, encourage social interaction and promote independence.
Responsibilities
- Planning engaging daily and weekly activity programmes
- Delivering both group and individual activities
- Supporting residents living with dementia
- Organising celebrations, themed events and entertainment
- Working alongside the care and nursing teams
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator within a care home or nursing home
- Experience working with people living with dementia
- A caring, enthusiastic and creative personality
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
